Movies Around Town is hosted by the Arvada Festivals Commission and features free movies at different parks each month throughout the summer. Each year, the Arvada Fesitvals Commission asks the community to pick which film will be shown for the final Movies Around Town event of the summer.
The movie that receives the most votes in the People's Choice Movie Poll will be shown on Friday, Aug. 29 at Clear Creek Valley Park (5900 Tennyson). Live music begins that night at 7 p.m. before showtime at dusk.
The People's Choice Movie Poll will be open for voting through August 9.
