For the 36-acre RiverHouse Neighborhood project, the developer proposes to keep the three existing multifamily residential buildings and rezone the entire property to allow for construction of infill development that totals 3,554 residential units and 27,759 square feet of retail. Staff has not yet begun its analysis of the applicant's proposal.

To kick off the review process, staff is asking for the community to share their top questions, concerns, and priorities in specific topic areas that will be reviewed by the Planning Commission's Long Range Planning Committee (LRPC) this fall.  The input received will be shared with the LRPC to bring the community’s viewpoint into the the plan review process as early as possible.

The review process is excpected to continue through Spring 2024, and there will be additional opportunities for more detailed feedback on the proposal and staff's analysis in the future. The County encourages all community members who are interested in this project to engage with their Civic Association leadership, as neighboring associations will have a representative on the Site Plan Review Committee and will be able to bring their community's specific viewpoints into the discussion.
