¿Por qué modificar Imagine Austin?

El 9 de marzo de 2023, el Ayuntamiento ordenó al personal que iniciara modificaciones al Plan Integral Imagine Austin   para reflejar las Tipologías ETOD cuando aceptaron el ETOD   Plan de Política ( versión en español ) mediante Resolución No. 20230309-016 .

La modificación de Imagine Austin para añadir las tipologías de ETOD permite su consideración formal en las decisiones actuales de zonificación y uso del suelo, y puede ayudar al personal a tomar decisiones que respalden las necesidades de ETOD de la zona de la estación. Además, aumenta la competitividad de Austin para obtener fondos federales que permitirán la construcción del sistema Project Connect.

Comprehensive Plan Joint Committee

February 21, 2024

Listen: Presentation given by City staff (beginning at 34:27) with an ETOD update on amending the ETOD Typologies to the Imagine Austin Comprehensive Plan, followed by Q&A from staff. 

Commission Action: Unanimously approved a recommendation that the ETOD Policy Map and Typologies be forwarded to the Planning Commission to be amended to Imagine Austin. Also requested a process for incorporating latest available data and adding a footnote noting the age of the data before forwarding it to Planning Commission.

City Staff Action: Staff will begin work on establishing a process to incorporate the latest available data into the Typologies, and add a footnote to note the age of the data. Staff will then bring the updated draft ordinance to the Planning Commission on March 12, 2024.
