Apex Community Park small playground is located off Laura Duncan Road, across the street from the recently constructed Street Hockey Rinks. The existing play area is about 4,100 SF featuring a single play structure for ages 5-12. The play area is surrounded by ample seating with benches and picnic tables as well as conveniently located with an access to existing restrooms. The proposed improvements will replace existing play equipment and incorporate ADA-accessible ramps and walkways connecting the playground to adjacent parking lots, creating a more welcoming, safe and accessible play environment for visitors of all abilities.
