Mapping new development in Omaha

Omaha’s downtown and midtown are experiencing an economic development boom because of the streetcar — and we’re just getting started.

Since the streetcar was announced in 2022, nearly two dozen projects have been officially announced, and several more are in the works. These include large residential buildings, new commercial space and a hotel, along with the Mutual of Omaha tower that will redefine Omaha’s skyline.

With so much new development on the horizon, it can be hard to keep track of the many projects coming to the urban core. So, we created a development map to help our community learn more about these exciting projects! View the map here:
