Tobacco and Buncombe County Property Community Survey
Tobacco and Buncombe County Property Community Survey
Did you know tobacco use is the leading preventable cause of disease and death in the United States? According to the CDC, nearly 500,000 people die every year from cigarette smoking. Buncombe County wants everyone visiting its properties and parks to feel safe and healthy. To help do so, we are working to raise awareness about the County’s policy that prohibits tobacco use at all County-owned facilities, including our parks. Tobacco use includes: cigarettes, cigars, vaping (e-cigs), smokeless tobacco (dip, chew), bidis, cloves, and any other tobacco-related products.
Please take a few minutes to complete this brief survey about tobacco use. Your feedback helps us improve efforts to keep our buildings, parks, and other properties as safe and healthy as possible. Thank you for your time and insights on this important issue.
