PUBLIC NOTICE


30-DAY PUBLIC NOTICE FOR REVISIONS TO EXISTING CLARK COUNTY AIR QUALITY REGULATIONS (AQRs) FOR:

SECTIONS 12.1, 12.11, 120, 50 & 51 


NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Clark County Department of Environment and Sustainability, Division of Air Quality (DAQ) is proposing updates to the AQRs.

Amending:

  • Section 12.1: Permit Requirements for Minor Sources
  • Section 12.11: General Permits for Minor Stationary Sources

Adopting:

  • Section 120: Reasonably Available Control Technology Demonstration and Determination Requirements for Major Stationary Sources in Ozone Nonattainment Areas

Repealing:

  • Section 50: Storage of Petroleum Products
  • Section 51: Petroleum Product Loading into Tank Trucks and Trailers

You can view the draft regulations and ordinances below. The 30-day public notice will start Monday, October 14, 2024, and will close Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 5:00 P.M., PST.

The Board of County Commisioners will consider the proposed ordiances at a public hearing at 10:00 A.M. on December 3, 2024, in the Commission Chambers, Clark County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway, Las Vegas, NV.
