Reality Education for Drivers
Reality Education for Drivers
As part of the court’s commitment to promoting safe driving practices during the 100 Deadliest Days for Teen Drivers campaign, the San Antonio Municipal Court is offering the Reality Education for Drivers (RED) program presented by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension.
The goal of this comprehensive program is to guide young drivers aged 15-25 towards safer driving behaviors and away from potential citations while on the road. The RED program is a free, interactive class lasting three to five hours, focusing on traffic safety and injury prevention measures.
While primarily intended for individuals who have exhibited unsafe driving behaviors such as speeding, distracted driving, failure to use seat belts, and impaired driving, participation is open to all young drivers. No prior citation is required to enroll.
Classes will take place at the San Antonio Municipal Court, located at 401 S Frio, San Antonio, Texas 78207, on the following dates:
- Friday, June 28, 2024, from 10 am to 2:30 pm
- Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 4 pm to 7:30 pm
- Wednesday, August 14, 2024, from 4 pm to 7:30 pm
Seats are limited, so early registration is encouraged.
