Kiewit Corporation is soliciting prospective contractors to bid on Omaha streetcar bid packages. Bids are due April 25, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. CDT.

The Omaha streetcar will connect downtown and midtown Omaha via Farnam and Harney streets, from 39th Street to 8th Street.

The project scope includes:

  • 5 miles of starter streetcar build, 3.2 miles of track system
