Overview
Overview
Hillsborough County Parks & Recreation is conducting a systemwide parks needs assessment as part of a cyclical 10-year update to the County’s Parks & Recreation Master Plan. This effort includes opportunities for residents to provide feedback on parks facilities, amenities, programs, and services, reflecting the needs and preferences of a growing and diverse community. The assessment will measure satisfaction, identify gaps and opportunities, and support thoughtful investments that enhance health, wellness, environmental stewardship, and community connection.
Learn about your Master Plan and tell the County how you would like to see your parks improve, grow, and address your needs. Participation is voluntary and easy, with options that include a current or upcoming online survey, opportunities to provide feedback on the County’s engagement hub, and public meetings scheduled over the coming months.
Why This Effort Matters
- Supports health, wellness, environmental, and economic benefits
- Ensures parks and recreation services align with community needs and preferences
- Guides future investments in park facilities, amenities, and programs
- Evaluates satisfaction, access, and equity across the countywide system
- Helps to update the County’s Parks & Recreation Master Plan
