* CLOSED * Performance Parking Pilot - Parking Priorities & Experiences
The Performance Parking Pilot Project seeks to make metered parking more available, more often through pricing changes and parking data information. In doing this, the team aims to reduce the negative impacts associated with the search for metered parking (e.g., double parking, cruising, erratic driving, going somewhere else to do business, etc.).
Project Resources:
The Performance Parking Pilot Project seeks to improve the availability of metered parking spaces on the curb in two key commercial and multifamily residential corridors.
The project does:
- Seek to make metered parking spaces more available, more often
- Share useful information about parking options in real time
- Aim to reduce the negative impacts associated with the search for metered parking (cruising, erratic driving, double parking, going somewhere else to do business, etc.).
The project combines occupancy detection and pricing tools to provide better information on parking availability and influence demand for metered curb space.
On this form, we want to learn more about your parking priorities, as well as your experience parking in Arlington. The remainder of this feedback form will ask you a few questions about your travel habits, your parking priorities, and a bit about yourself. Every question in this feedback form is optional.
