The City of Alexandria invites the community to a Town Hall on the Potomac River Interceptor Spill and its impacts on the City’s waterfront at 7 p.m. on March 19 at the Lee Center (1108 Jefferson St.). Attendees can also participate online via Zoom. The Town Hall will provide the latest information about the sewer pipeline collapse that caused the spill into the Potomac River and what it means for Alexandria residents.
City leaders will be joined by officials from DC Water and the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) will answer your questions about the spill and its impacts.
To allow panelists time to respond to as many questions as possible, please submit your questions either during or after presenters have spoken.
