South Prong Clarke Creek Greenway
Welcome to the South Prong Clarke Creek Creek Greenway public input webpage.
South Prong Clarke Creek Greenway will be approximately two miles in length extending from Huntersville-Concord Highway to Monocacy Boulevard. It will pass through and serve the Vermillion, Vermillion Front, Vermillion Village and Mirabella subdivisions. The greenway will be accessible to developments both north and south of the creek. The greenway project is selected for funding and is in the early stages of design.
A stream restoration by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Storm Water Services will also be provided to improve the cross section of the creek making it more stable and reducing the #one pollutant in our creeks...sediment. The schedules for both greenway and stream restoration projects are to be determined.
