Little Sugar Creek Greenway (Replacement from E. Morehead St to East Blvd)
Atrium Health is rebuilding an improved Little Sugar Creek Greenway from E. Morehead St to East Boulevard for the public as part of their renovations. The greenway project is one mile in length. It is being reconstructed along with a large interceptor sewer, changes to the Medical Center Drive alignment, and overall renovation of the Atrium campus. The trail will feature a 12’ width for most of the route and angled bridges.
Completion and opening of the greenway portion is anticipated for Late Fall 2024, pending weather or other unanticipated delays.
