Archdale Park Improvements
Archdale Park, located at 5400 Cherrycrest Lane, is 16.6 acres and currently includes a basketball court, picnic shelter, playground, and multipurpose field. Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation will utilize a $4 million American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant to reinvest in existing amenities and make improvements. We are looking to the community to help us envision the parkland in a way that serves and reflects the neighborhood.
Public engagement and outreach was approximately an 8-month process led by the County and its consultant from Spring 2023 - Winter 2024.
