PUBLIC NOTICE: 

30-Day Public Notice for 
Proposed Clark County Air Quality Regulation 

Sections 130

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Clark County proposes to adopt an ordinance creating a new section of the Clark County Air Quality Regulations (AQRs) to regulate coatings that may cause or contribute to volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions within the 2015 Ozone Nonattainment Boundary by implementing VOC content limits and container labeling, recordkeeping, reporting, testing, and compliance requirements. The new section is applicable to any person who supplies, sells, offers for sale, or manufactures any architectural or industrial maintenance coating within Clark County : Section 130 – VOC Emissions Control for Architectural and Industrial Maintenance Coatings.

The Board of County Commissioners will consider the proposed ordinance at a public hearing at 10:00 a.m. on August 6, 2024, in the Commission Chambers, Clark County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway, Las Vegas.

A copy of the proposed ordinance may be reviewed at the Division of Air Quality, 4701 W. Russell Road, second floor, Las Vegas, Nevada 89118. Alternatively, the draft ordinance is available for review on the DAQ website.
