Idlewild Road Park Improvements

Idlewild Road Park is an existing 203-acre Mecklenburg County Park located at 10512 Idlewild Rd, Matthews, NC 28105. The park includes ballfields, playgrounds, picnic shelters, a disc golf course, access to Irvins Creek Greenway, parking, and restrooms.

This Improvement project will add a new skate park and bicycle and pedestrian connection to Margaret Wallace Road. The scope of this project may also include repairs/expansion of existing paved trails, wayfinding, and/or improvements to the parking area and restroom.
