Kilborne Park Improvements
Kilborne Park is an existing 51-acre Mecklenburg County Park located at 2600 Kilborne Drive, Charlotte, NC 28205. The park includes a cricket field, ball field, playgrounds, picnic shelters, a disc golf course, the Kilborne DIY Skate Park, parking, and restrooms.
This Improvement project will:
- Add new amenities to the skate park in collaboration with the Charlotte Skate Foundation.
- Add a paved bicycle and pedestrian connections to the surrounding neighborhood with a goal of connecting to Arnold Drive and Medallion Drive.
- The scope of this project may also include repairs/expansion of existing paved trails, wayfinding, park shelters, and/or improvements to the parking area and restroom.
