The MPO supports Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMS) technology to reduce traffic jams, coordinate traffic signals, keep buses on schedule, improve reliability, and manage parking more efficiently.

The MPO is making transportation technologies accessible to the public. SmartTrafficInfo.org allows you to see any traffic camera within the MPO region. These traffic cameras can help with traffic research, crash avoidance, emergency managment, and other functions.

Electric Vehicles, Autonomous Vehicles, and Connected Vehicles (EVs, AVs, and CVs) are typically electric powered. To accomodate for EVs, AVs, and CVs, private and public sector partners have created a robust network of charging stations around the world. Click around and view the options availble in the Sarasota / Manatee region. 

Because there are so many charging stations to display, this map displays fewer icons when zoomed out. For a more accurate view of charging stations near you, zoom in or search for your address.
