Definitions

For the purposes of this survey, please use the following definitions. 
 
Immediate Family - Individuals living in the same home. 
 
Extended Family - Individuals living not in the same home but in Larimer County. 
 

Neighborhood - Street level connections (subdivision, block, filing, HOA, etc.)

Community - A group of neighborhoods closely located (Glacier View, Glen Haven, Estes Valley, etc.) or people with shared characteristics (65+, religious, LGBTQ+, BIPOC, people with disabilities, etc.)

Trust & Connectedness

Research shows that connected communities/neighborhoods are more resilient both before and after disaster. This section helps LCOEM determine the level of connectedness.
