Department of Arts & Culture: Las Palmas Library Public Art

Artwork created through the City’s Public Art Process must first go through SASpeakUp community engagement to determine the artwork’s theme and other important design aspects. This engagement is quantified through a SASpeakUp survey which provides critical information for artist selection and design.

The City of San Antonio's Department of Arts & Culture has identified the Las Palmas Library as an opportunity for a public art project. The artwork will be three-dimensional and placed near the facility’s entrance and parking lot. We are in the early stages of the project and need your help selecting the top theme to explore in the artwork’s design.
