This request would continue to allow for residential uses on smaller lot sizes with less restrictive dimensional standards than current zoning. It would allow for the development of multi-family townhouses. Proposed zoning conditions would prohibit the apartment building type; limit residential development to a maximum of 125 units; and prohibit residential development north of Walnut Creek. It would also prohibit the following uses: congregate care; continuing care retirement community; rest home; cemetery; school, public or private (K-12); day care center; golf course; and outdoor sports or entertainment facility.
