The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has indicated they will reclassify the Las Vegas Valley (Hydrographic Area (HA) 212), located within Clark County, Nevada, from a marginal to a moderate nonattainment area for the 2015 ozone National Ambient Air Quality Standard. Clark County's Division of Air Quality (DAQ) is hosting a virtual public meeting to provide an overview of:
- Current ozone situation in HA 212
- Regulatory timelines to meet this new classification
- Actions DAQ is considering to satisfy EPA’s requirements.

When: Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023 | 8 - 9 a.m. PST
At this meeting DAQ will present potential new emission reduction measures under consideration. Future stakeholder meetings will delve into the details of each of the reduction measures under consideration in more focused workshops.
