In 2023, the City reconstructed Turner Avenue NW (4th to Ann). Now that a year has passed since the project was completed, we want to know your thoughts. Your feedback will be used to inform future projects.

Project background

   

  

This project:​

  • Resurfaced 0.8 miles of asphalt pavement
  • Upgraded sidewalks and curb ramps to be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
  • Completed 75 lead service line replacements.
  • Increased greenspace within the project limits to retain and soak more stormwater into the ground to filter pollutants and reduce runoff entering the Grand River.
  • Planted 25 new street trees. 
  • Replaced the southbound only bike lane on Turner with a new separated two-way bikeway between 4th St and Richmond (1.2 miles)
  • Added new buffered bicycle lanes on Turner between Richmond Street and Ann Street (0.25 miles)
