The next two questions are related development concepts and the corridor's focus areas: Freedom Drive between Camp Greene Park and Enderly Park and the Thomasboro-Hoskins community along Bradford Drive.

Question title

The diagram above illustrates a potential land use and development concept along Bradford Drive for the Thomasboro community that envisions a neighborhood main street.

The diagram shows a mix of incremental or small-scale infill development along Bradford Drive, pedestrian connectivity into the residential neighborhoods, placemaking interventions and commercial property renovations to build out a commercial node that is scaled to the neighborhood.

Although this example is specific to the Thomasboro community, incremental strategies for neighborhood commercial nodes like this could be explored in other communities inside the corridor.

In general, are you supportive of the idea of providing a centralized commercial "node" for residents, improved connections, and the integration of missing middle housing (duplexes and accessory dwelling units) as a strategy for neighborhood development in your community?

Question title

The diagram above shows a potential concept for the Freedom Drive corridor that could redevelop the auto-oriented commercial centers into a more dense, mixed use activity area that also adds additional pedestrian connections across Freedom Drive and through the properties into the adjacent neighborhoods. This "retrofit" of the existing development could be built out over time.

In general, are you supportive of allowing a mixture of uses (residential, commercial, etc.) along Freedom Drive that may lead to the creation of a neighborhood center that provides retail opportunities for small, local business and housing opportunities in a walkable environment?
