Shared Streets Pilot Project Evaluations - Neighborhood Complete Streets
Shared Streets Pilot Project Evaluations - Neighborhood Complete Streets
Arlington has neighborhood streets with no sidewalks. Some of these streets have challenges that make building sidewalks difficult, including insufficient right-of way, topography, high parking demand, and tree preservation needs.
To help address demonstrated safety and access issues on these street types, the Neighborhood Complete Streets Program (NCS) piloted a Shared Street environment on three neighborhood streets using durable temporary materials.
We want your feedback on your experiences in the following corridors now that these pilot projects have been implemented.
These engagement opportunities are open through Sunday, October 19. We want to learn from you, our community members, about the impacts of the Shared Street pilot projects. Additional locations may be considered based on public feedback in combination with other relevant data. Thank you for helping improve our projects to better meet your needs!
