Church Street Extension and Downtown Connections
The Planning Department of Huntersville applied for federal grant funds that could extend Church Street between Dellwood Drive and Holbrooks Road, and also extend sidewalks and multi-use paths along those roadways. These grant funds were not awarded to the Town. Only one project in the state of North Carolina received these grant funds. The Town is working to identify next steps to accomplish goals of project.

We will have preliminary drawings to share, showing where the sidewalks and multi-use paths will go (based on initial input from our December meeting), and this will be an opportunity to provide feedback on the plans.
