Wiehle Avenue Study
Wiehle Avenue Study
The Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT) held a public meeting on May 23, 2024, to present three concepts developed from feedback gathered at a previous community workshop. The concepts include lane reductions, wider sidewalks and landscaped buffers, dedicated bicycle facilities and roundabouts. View the presentation here.
During the meeting, FCDOT conducted a voting exercise to solicit participants’ preferences on the type of bicycle facility and placemaking aspects along the corridor. These preferences, along with feedback on the three Alternatives, will help inform the creation of a Preferred Alternative for Wiehle Avenue. Please take a look at each option below and let us know your preference.
We also appreciate your feedback on the three alternative concepts: alternative 1, alternative 2, alternative 3. Click here for all alternatives including the existing conditions.
This survey will be open through July 1, 2024.
