Corridor Preservation Plan Phase 2
Corridor Preservation Plan Phase 2
Hillsborough County is updating the Corridor Preservation Plan (CPP) and wants to hear from you during an online public engagement from Oct. 29 through Nov. 30.
In July, the County held the first phase of the public engagement, requesting feedback through an online engagement and four public meetings. The County has updated the proposed plan maps based on your feedback during the first phase of the engagement.
This plan guides the scale and location of future roadways in Hillsborough County to ensure connectivity and rights-of-way are adequate to serve planned growth and support anticipated future development patterns.
While the Comprehensive Plan was updated in 2022 with minor changes to the CPP, there has not been a major revision in over 15 years.
With ever-evolving land use patterns and travel habits, an updated CPP will help ensure that Hillsborough County's transportation network works efficiently and safely through the coming decades.
You are encouraged to share input online anytime between Wednesday, Oct. 29, and Sunday, Nov. 30.
The maps shared here reflect recommendations to change the Corridor Preservation Plan (CPP) based on your input or analysis of modeled traffic looking forward to the year 2070. The maps highlight where projects are recommended to be removed from or added to the final CPP. Changes resulting from the adopted 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan are also reflected in the maps but not highlighted.
After reviewing the maps, please provide your comments/feedback on future road projects.
