Microtransit Public Feedback
The Town is planning to launch a microtransit service next year to help residents get around Holly Springs conveniently and for fares that cost less than a cup of coffee (at most $4 per ride and $0 for elderly folks and persons with diasbilities). Microtransit is a ride-sharing service that offers on-demand trips within a designated area.
Anytime during weekday service hours, residents will be able to request rides and be taken to destinations within the service area, which will include Holly Springs neighborhoods, businesses and retail locations. Microtransit vehicles will carry up to five passengers. If other residents request a ride along the route, they will be picked up along the way.
The purpose of this survey is to assist the Town in the development of the microtransit program and selection of a service provider. In addition to this survey, Town staff will have a table at the Farmers Market on June 28th to hear feedback from the public on the microtransit service.
The survey will be open until August 1, 2025 at 11:59pm.
