This page catalogues the public comments received during Phase 5 of the 2023–2025 Community Area Planning process by Council District.
Phase 5: Review & Adoption is the final stage in a five-phase process conducted over a two-year period. The process included public engagement at each phase and resulted in 14 draft Community Area Plans and a Revised Policy Map. All comments submitted during Phase 5 were carefully reviewed by City staff. The following pages include a record of each comment, accompanied by a staff response that explains how the feedback was considered, clarifies technical or policy questions, and indicates any resulting changes or revisions to the draft plans.
The Community Areas Plans will also inform the next level of policy guidance, Specific Plans, which will focus on smaller-scale geographies. These plans will provide more detailed guidance and are geared toward plan and project implementation. Comments received during the Community Area Plan process, including those related to planned or proposed infrastructure projects, will be further reviewed and considered during the development and implementation of future Specific Plans.
