Updating a comprehensive plan is crucial for a town or village to ensure it addresses current and future needs effectively. It allows the community to reassess and realign its goals, reflecting changes in demographics, economic conditions, and environmental factors. An updated plan promotes sustainable development, improves infrastructure, and enhances quality of life by incorporating modern planning practices and community feedback. It also strengthens the town's ability to attract investments and secure grants, providing a clear and strategic framework for growth and development. The Town and Village of Mexico understand this necessity and have reached out to us, here at Central New York Regional Planning and Development Board (CNY RPDB) to help with this endevor.
