Traffic Calming Projects - Home Page
The City of Raleigh attempts to work with and offer a traffic calming project to the top 20 streets approved by Council per cycle. These are the top ranked streets with a quantifiable crash or speed compliance issue. Staff will work with each street and the greater neighborhood to develop a successful project using traffic calming best practices while incorporating comments and feedback from the neighborhood.
As each neighborhood works through the process, you will be sent mailers with a number 1 - 3 signifying in which step of the process your neighborhood is participating in. All current project offers will be available below or at this Link for more information.
