30-DAY NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FOR
PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO EXISTING CLARK COUNTY AIR QUALITY REGULATIONS
SECTIONS 13 AND 14
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Clark County proposes to adopt an ordinance amending Sections 13 and 14 of the Clark County Air Quality Regulations (AQRs) to address changes in federal requirements for stationary sources of air pollution. Section 13, “National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants” (NESHAPs), addresses requirements for stationary sources that emit hazardous pollutants listed in 40 CFR Parts 61 and 63. Section 14, “New Source Performance Standards” (NSPS), addresses requirements for stationary sources listed in 40 CFR Part 60. The proposed ordinance amending Sections 13 and 14 will incorporate updates to the delegated federal regulations as of August 1, 2024; incorporate a new delagated NSPS for gasoline bulk terminals; incorporate certain NESHAPs and NSPS for inclusion into the state implementation plan to implement Control Technique Guidelines Reasonably Available Control Technology requirements to reduce volatile organic compound emissions associated with ground level ozone; add clarifying language; and renumber as necessary.
The Board of County Commissioners will consider the proposed ordinance at a public hearing at 10:00 a.m. on September 17, 2024, in the Commission Chambers, Clark County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway, Las Vegas, NV.
