SFY 2024-2025 Highway Priority Program

Louisiana RS 48:229.1 requires DOTD to annually create the final construction program for the coming state fiscal year for submission to the State Legislature.  Louisiana RS 48:230 requires DOTD to also annually provide a list of projects proposed to be commenced within the ensuing four years that are in various stages of planning and preparation.  The combination of these two lists is the Highway Priority Program.

The Highway Priority Program identifies the projects that are scheduled for construction letting in SFY 2024-2025.  These are denoted as being in Stage 4.  Projects being developed in the other stages are also included in the document.

The Highway Priority Program is divided into three sections:

  • Part 1 of the Highway Program is a list of all projects scheduled for construction in SFY 2024-2025 to be approved by the Legislature.
  • Part 2 of the Highway Program is a list of all projects DOTD has in development. Projects to be included in future programs will come from this list.
  • Part 3 of the Highway Program is a list of all projects that are on hold until all required funding can be identified to move the project through design and construction.  These projects can be funded from additional revenue sources or from regular program funds if available in the future.

Update: The comment period for all projects has closed.
