The City of Austin is in the process of reviewing the rules that regulate the shared micromobility program that includes shared e-scooters and e-bikes. The goal is to find new and innovative ways to make Austin's transportation system safer and more convenient for everyone.

The City of Austin has set up shared mobility parking boxes, pictured below, to help e-scooter and e-bike riders find safe locations to park their devices that will not block sidewalks, streets or other rights of way.
