Question title

A majority of the park lies within the floodplain of Shoal Creek, and the park itself acts as a detention pond during major flood events, reducing the flooding along the creek. As part of the park vision planning process, the City of Austin must balance these ecosystem services with the community's desired park usage. This may require consideration on how certain amenities, activities, or facilities may impact the floodplain. Does this change how you think of the park?
