Smart North Florida Pilot Submission Portal
Opening the door for public agencies to test new and emerging technologies is the catalyst for public innovation. Smart North Florida’s mission to democratize innovation through technology deployment will be this catalyst. Through this portal public agencies at the local, county, and state agency levels will be able to submit use case statements for SNF to review. After an internal review process, SNF will fund noteworthy pilot projects and work with public sector staff to evaluate the efficacy of pilot deployments.

Step 3 – Detailed pilot programming form
Step 4 – SNF Board Review
Step 5 – Deploy
Please note, while all use case statements will be considered, pilot sponsorship awards are subject to available funding.

The following use cases are recommended for consideration for pilot sponsorship.
- Infrastructure – pavement management, asset inventory, parking, etc.
- Flooding/Resiliency
- Transportation Safety
- Process Improvement Technology including data analytics, AI, and digital twins
- Disaster Response
- Public Utilities
Smart North Florida will NOT consider deployments of technology that use personally identifiable information or other technology types that infringe on personal privacy.
