Project Description:

The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) resurfaced State Route 68 in Davis County from 500 S to 400 W. The project objectives were aimed at preserving the life of the road. This paving process helped increase the longevity of the road surface and enhanced motorist safety by resmoothing asphalt. Additional work included upgraded pedestrian ramps to meet ADA compliance, varied business access ramp improvements and curb/gutter replacements, refreshed lane and road painting/striping, as well as updated roadside signage.

June 10 – July 10: Pedestrian ramp installations and curb-and-gutter upgrades were completed
July 20 – August 1: Phase 1 paving operations took place
August 3 – August 8: Miscellaneous roadway utility work was performed
August 22 – August 28: Phase 2 paving operations were completed
Late September: Paving and lane striping operations on 500 S, along with final road maintenance and cleanup activities, were completed
