Sustainable Southfield Master Plan Update 2026 Intro & Timeline
Welcome! Pursuant to the requirements of the Michigan Planning Enabling Act (Act 33 of 2008, as amended), we are in the process of updating the City’s Comprehensive Master Plan (adopted June 20, 2016). The June 2016 plan along with additional information pertaining to the 2016 update can be found here: https://www.cityofsouthfield.com/comprehensive-master-plan
We encourage you to follow the progress of the plan on this page where we will introduce weekly topics to obtain information from City stakeholders (residents, business owners, people who visit the city for recreation, shopping, dining, and work). You will have the opportunity to respond to a series of questions pertaining to a range of topics that affect us all and which can be found under the Public Input step below. Additional information on the Comprehensive Master Plan process may be found on the City of Southfield’s website: www.cityofsouthfield.com.
