The Fiscal Court and county leadership have been working to expand public water access to unserved areas of our community. Work is currently underway in Phase 2 of the project. Streets have been identified and organized into three groups. Here is a quick breakdown of where work stands for each group:

• Group A. All waterlines are now installed. Residents can contact Boone County Water District (859-586-6155) to begin the process of connecting to public water.
• Group B. Construction was completed in Spring 2023. Many homes have connected. 
• Group C. Bidding is underway to secure contracts for the construction of waterlines. All bidding should be complete in the next few months. Construction on some streets will begin soon.
