Changes include:
- Reconstruct the pavement
- Widen shoulders
- Embankment improvements
Traffic will be maintained using one lane of traffic during the majority of the project. During the paving stage of construction, the causeway will be closed approximately three months. Traffic will then be directed to use the IL-67, IL-136, and IL-84 detour.
