The Town of Huntersville is developing a Mobility Plan that will comprehensively address transportation improvement options for all modes of travel (pedestrian, bicycle, vehicular, and public transit) within the Town to reflect community priorities. The Plan will assess existing conditions and identify gaps in the transportation network and develop and prioritize recommendations for improvement.

Developing a Mobility Plan is necessary to address gaps in the transportation network and to respond to the evolving concerns of our town, including population growth, traffic congestion, land development, climate change, multimodal and new mobility options, and changing travel patterns following the COVID-19 pandemic. Through public input and the guidance of a Technical Committee, the Mobility Plan will ultimately identify and prioritize projects and policies to deliver improved mobility throughout town.
