The applicant is requesting a conditional rezoning of approximately 26.97 acres located on Upward Road and Commercial Boulevard from Henderson County Regional Commercial zoning district to City of Hendersonville Commercial Highway Mixed Use zoning district to allow for the development of retail and multi-family residentail. The proposed project includes 288 units in 8 separate building. The site is currently being utilized partially for farming, however, most of the property is vacant land and is surrounded by a mixture of Henderson County Regional Commercial and Hendersonville Commercial Highway Mixed Use. A majority of the uses in the surrounding area are commercial.
