The first round of survey results showed strong support for including both nature play and traditional play elements. All park development will prioritize PARD's goals of protecting the trees, providing walking paths and seating areas. There is a natural clearing near the center of the property that offers space for play features. This area will be separated into three play zones. Each zone will hold only one play feature, for a total of three in the clearing.

  • Area A: The largest zone, measuring approximately 42 by 30 feet.
  • Area B: A medium-sized space, about 25 by 38 feet.
  • Area C: The smallest zone, around 30 by 20 feet.

We need your input to decide what kind of amenity should be included in each zone. Keep in mind, our goal is to find balance within the community preferences. Any final plan will include both traditional and nature play, while working within the existing tree canopy.
