Housing Affordability & Livability

Transit improvements will encourage development. The development they bring will affect the cost of housing. It will also create new housing options. The Transit Oriented Policy (TOP) framework wants to ensure these changes benefit everyone in San Antonio. The framework would offer ways to provide housing that people of all ages, incomes, and abilities can afford.

These strategies focus on protecting residents from being pushed out of their neighborhoods. They also encourage the building of homes that are affordable. This plan ensures all residents can live in safe, affordable, and stable communities. It helps create a strong and inclusive city for everyone.

Question title

Is housing affordable in your neighborhood? What would you do to improve "livability" on your street?
