The U.S. 50 East of Dayton Preservation Project is anticipated to rehabilitate the stretch of highway from just east of Fortune Drive to 500 feet east of Chaves Road, for a total approximate length of 5.7 miles in Lyon County. The project includes pavement preservation, drainage improvements, traffic safety improvements with median installation and access modifications, two new traffic signals (at Cardelli Road/River Boat Road and Six Mile Canyon Road), improved signage and new roadway striping.
