The Charlotte UDO Maintenance Text Amendment Request Form is now open! This portal is the best place for you to submit comments or suggestions for potential text amendments to the standards in the UDO. Comments submitted through this portal may recommend anything from greater usability, clarity, function, or identification of other issues with the standards. 

Please submit a separate form for each text amendment request. The form will close on August 31, 2026. 

Importantly, this portal is not intended to be a resource for submitting comments or seeking more information related to the current development moratorium on data centers within the City of Charlotte. Please visit https://www.charlottenc.gov/City-News/Data-Centers-Moratorium-FAQs to engage with the City's resources related to data centers and the 150-day development moratorium for this land use.
