McAlpine and McMullen Creek Greenway Reinvestment Project
This project will repair and improve paving and structures along McAlpine Creek Greenway from Johnston Road to Carmel Road at McMullen Creek Greenway and McMullen Creek Greenway from Highway 51/Pineville-Matthews Road to McAlpine Creek Greenway at Carmel Road. The existing greenway trail is approximately 4 miles with 11 access trails and two trailheads. The scope of this project may include repairs/replacement of paved greenway trail, bridges, boardwalks, wayfinding, and improvements to the parking areas and restrooms. Design began in Fall 2025.
