How to Request to Speak

1. Choose the meeting where you’d like to speak.

2. Click Register and fill out the form.

3. Select In Person or Virtually, and indicate if you would like to request an interpreter.

4. If speaking by phone, you must call from the phone number you registered with.

5. Pick the agenda item you want to speak on.

6. Submit your form. You’ll receive a confirmation email.

On the Day of the Meeting

• In Person: Check in with the Deputy City Clerk when you arrive. Head to the lectern when called to speak.
• By Phone: Call (619) 679-9952 up to 30 minutes before the meeting starts. You’ll be prompted when it’s your turn to speak. You may remain on the line after you speak to listen to the meeting or to speak again if you registered to speak on multiple items.
